Our story began when our founder, Rahhul, was a child. Although he never suffered from any serious health condition himself, he experienced the profound grief associated with them. Rahhul’s family had a history of dealing with cancer.
The diagnosis of cancer in Rahhul’s cousin, Vedant, was particularly devastating. It marked an end to their carefree childhood days, as they could no longer play and enjoy life as before. This heart-wrenching experience inspired Rahhul to create an organization that would honor Vedant’s love for art and Rahhul’s desire to raise awareness about cancer. Thus, Canvas for Cancer was born, inspired by Vedant.
Rahhul set out with a mission not only to spread the joy of art but also to promote the idea that art can aid in medical treatment. Through Canvas for Cancer, he aims to share this vision with the world, combining creativity and compassion to support those affected by cancer.
